I'm just back from an expedition to locate and verify the identity of a 90 year old shipwreck lying off the coast of New Zealand. Two rebreather divers conducted two days of diving in about 100m of water and found items that will confirm the name of the vessel.

Oh man, that is my dream!
The ultimate score was the discovery of some dinner places with the shipping line's insignia on them, and then to have that topped by the recovery of the ships bell on the second dive! :o)
Everything was filmed and a DVD is going to be produced from the footage. Some of the spectacular underwater video shot by Pete Mesley was aired on New Zealand television last week.
